Watching with bated breath are some of the high school students from throughout the region that took part in the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Invention Challenge preliminaries held at Cal State Fullerton. The competition had students building equipment that would fire tennis balls over a barrier and into a 30-gallon steel container.
